Frequently asked questions

  • Queer folks (21+) with some experience with line and country dancing

  • The site has tarped cabin, shower/toilet facilities and cots. We will also have access to our own campfire circle, kitchen, and dining room (which will double as a dance floor). We will send a full packing list closer to the event.

  • The cost of entry includes a weekend of programming, meals, and lodging.

  • Let us know how you want to help at dirtydancingweekend@gmail.com When registering you will be also be prompted to let us know what you would like to help out with.

  • We encourage all participants to come for the whole event, or as much as possible. The registration cost will be the same no matter how long you can stay.

  • Given our planning constraints, we will not be able to issue refunds. We encourage you to find someone to sell your ticket to. 

  • Bedding is not provided so bring anything that helps keep you comfy (Sleeping bags, pillows, extra blankets). Refer to the gear share chat before buying anything new for this event. Swimming is accessible at nearby beaches and rivers so towels and swimsuits will come in handy. We are all going to be working together to cook meals but make sure to bring your favorite snacks and any food to satisfy specific dietary needs. Anything else that you know helps you enjoy a weekend of camping like headlamps, sunscreen, and camp chairs.
